Conference Session Descriptions

ASERA 2012 is designed to optimise constructive discussion about research in science education. In 2012 two different types of presentations will be available to support the needs of different presenters.

Paper Presentation Sessions

Presentation sessions will be allocated 40 minutes. This comprises 20 minutes of presentation time and 20 minutes of question and discussion time. Participants seeking to lead a paper presentation need to be able to engage the audience in 20 minutes of critical, but positive conversation between themselves as the researcher and the audience.

Please bring 20 copies of your paper to distribute at your session.

Poster Presentations

Several poster presentation sessions will be scheduled throughout the conference. Poster presentations will be themed according to submissions. Researchers prepare a poster (A0= 841mm x 1189mm, A1= 594mm x 841mm) that presents research (questions, methodology, analysis and results). Each presenter will then prepare a short presentation to discuss with participants.

Call for Papers and Poster – Abstract Submission

To present a paper or a poster at this conference you need to submit only the abstract, of up to 200 words. You are invited to submit abstracts relevant to science education research.
