Early Career Researchers attending the 2012 ASERA conference are invited to register for the ASERA Pre-Conference Workshop by emailing the coordinator, Professor Stephen Ritchie (firstname.lastname@example.org), by May 30. Registrations are limited to 20, so be sure to register early. There is no charge for the workshop because it is sponsored by ASERA.
Who should attend?
Early career researchers (i.e., up to 5 years post PhD) or emerging researchers (i.e., close to completion of their PhD).
What issues are likely to be addressed?
Networking within ASERA and beyond; research collaboration; establishing a research track record (publishing in research journals and winning grants); Revisiting, extending and sharing your PhD study; working towards building a research program; and managing your career.

What are the program details?
These will be forwarded in follow-up correspondence. The full-day workshop will be conducted on campus at USC in Room HG.45; i.e., the same location as the conference, see map. The workshop will conclude prior to the official ASERA welcome. You should plan to arrive at the campus at about 8.30am on the 27th June. The workshop will be catered.

As competition for places is likely to be high, be sure to register by May 30.
